Applying for a place is simple and you can either apply online or by telephone through Nottingham City Council for reception children and in-year admissions.

If you would like your child to attend our wonderful nursery, please apply directly to the academy by calling us on 0115 905 0106 to register your child. We will put your child’s details on our waiting list and contact you as soon as a place becomes available.
We offer places for children the term after their third birthday.
Please note:
A place in our nursery does not mean your child will automatically be allocated a place at Hogarth Academy. You will have to apply through Nottingham City Council as outlined above.

There are two types of appeal: in-year admission appeals and appeals for a Reception place.
If your appeal relates to an in-year admission, you should submit your appeal within 20 school days of being told that your application was unsuccessful. Your appeal will be heard at an independent hearing at which a decision will be made. The appeal outcome will be communicated via letter.
If your appeal is for a child starting a primary academy in September 2027 and you are told of the decision on 16 April 2027 (National Offer Day), you should submit your appeal by 14 May 2027.
If you are told of a primary academy decision after 16 April 2027, you should submit your appeal within 28 days of being told that your application was unsuccessful.
