At Hogarth Academy, we know our children are inquisitive about the world they live in and the wider universe. Through our teaching of Computing, the children will learn a range of subject specific skills, through which, they will gain a range of subject specific knowledge. This is the study of using online technologies in a safe and responsible manner.
This is the study of what technology is both in school and the wider world and how it can impact on our lives.
This is the study of collecting, presenting and interpreting data using different software. This can include setting up spreadsheets and entering formulas to calculate values of cells.
This is the study of producing content which uses a combination of different media types.
This is the study of learning how to write programs using software to achieve desired outcomes. This also includes understanding how to correct errors and debug their scripts and given scripts.
