Our year six pupils walked to the central mosque this week to learn more about Islam and how people who follow this faith , worship in the mosque . They also talked to the Imam about many aspects of worship. The children were extremely respectful and asked many great questions.
Everyone used their French language skills to designs and create their own crepe as part of our Le Chandeleur day 2024 . We loved having a purpose to speak French today!
Our Year 6 walked to the mosque this week to find out more about Islam and how peoples of the Islamic faith worship in the building . They could link what they had learnt in school to what they saw and heard. They demonstrated respect and tolerance too and asked some amazingly thoughtful questions to deepen their understanding, well done Year Six.
We have allocated the children into houses based on the local parks to Nottingham City and the county. The children work for house points over the week and the winning house each term can choose a special treat. We cant wait to see which house will have amassed the most house points this half term!
We have nurtured our vegetable patch patiently for many months, today we got to harvest our vegetables. We love the knobbly carrots and the smell of the potatoes, now we can’t wait to eat them!
The children demonstrated their drumming skills this morning at our assembly. Well done everyone!
